Dress like the Duchess – What to Wear to a Polo Match

Hi my friends,

This past weekend my husband and I, together with our bundle of joy, went to a polo match.
I have wanted to go for long time, but I never had the chance to do it.
If you have the chance I suggest it, don’t think twice. It is such a nice place to spend your Sunday afternoon.

They say: Do what the Royals do.

We all love the Duchess of Cambridge, and her style, that is why I decided to recreate another one of her looks. But this time a little bit more casual.

Kate’s outfit picture is taken from the latest polo match that she attended together with Prince George to watch her husband play.
Nautical blouse, blue jeans and boat shoes and you are all set.
Simple, casual and practical.
Especially if you have a little kid with you. You want to be more comfortable to be able to catch every baby step.

If you are wondering how you should be dressed for a Polo Match I am here to give you advice.

You can never go wrong with a simple blouse and jeans, after all, this is a sports game.

And if the polo is the final match or an important game with more at stake you can wear a light-weight midi dress (polka dot dresses are great for polo. Here is one example: https://novaeleganza.com/2014/05/12/the-polka-dot-dress-2/  paired with wedges.

You don’t want your heels to be stuck every time when you step on the grass.
For accessories you don’t need much, maybe none at all if you choose a more casual look.

Just take your seat and enjoy.
I enjoyed it so much that we are going again this weekend.
